Biographical Information: Jim had lived in the Idaville, Indiana, most all his life. He grew up in Monticello, Indiana, and was a 1952 graduate of Monticello High School of Monticello, Indiana. Jim was a member of the former Burnettsville Masonic Lodge of Burnettsville, Indiana, and was a Past Worshipful Master of the Lodge. Burnettsville Masonic Lodge merged into the Royal Center Masonic Lodge of Royal Center, Indiana, and was a member for over fifty years. He was a member of the former Eastlawn United Methodist Church of Idaville, Indiana, and had served as the Sunday School Superintendent for numerous years. He was also a member of the Idaville Volunteer Fire Department of Idaville, Indiana, for several years, and the Widow Sons Masonic Riders Association. Jim was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He served in France. Jim was a long haul truck driver for over forty years. After his retirement from the Teamsters Union Local #135, Jim, started his second career, JVS Excavating of Idaville, Indiana, and was still working. He was a torch bearer for Lincoln Township, Idaville, Indiana, for the Indiana Bicentennial. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything in the great outdoors. He traveled to Colorado, Alabama, and Canada to hunt and fish. Jim always wanted to go bear hunting but never had the opportunity. At the young age of 83, Jim, purchased his first motorcycle a Harley Davidson Trike and enjoyed riding it as much as possible with his Widows Sons Brothers’.

Marriage Information: On October 10, 1954, at the Idaville Methodist Church of Idaville, Indiana, he married Veral L. Cramer; she passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
