Visitation will be: Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Don has been in failing health for the last several months. He was a United States Korean Conflict Air Force Veteran. Don was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church, and the American Legion Post #81 both of Monticello, Indiana. He was a former and charter member of the Knights of Columbus of Monticello, Indiana. Don drove a semi for over forty years, retiring in 2000, and helped rebuild McDonald Restaurants in the different areas. He loved and enjoyed playing Euchre.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Guardian Angel Hospice. Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On October 6, 1990, at the Buffalo Church of the Brethren in Buffalo, Indiana, he married Barbara Ann "Barb" (Slater) Howard; she survives.
