Biographical Information: Stan had been in failing health for the last several months. He had lived in the Monon, Indiana, area all his life and was a 1954 graduate of Monon High School of Monon, Indiana. After graduating, Stan, enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the New Beginnings Southern Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana. Stan was also a member of the AmVets Post #91 of Monticello, Indiana, and the American Legion Post # 418 of Walton, Indiana. He enjoyed his yard work, gardening, and being outdoors. Stan loved taking his family fishing. He was a family person and loved spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. Stan had worked for the Railroad for several years, worked in food processing at both Wilson Products of Logansport, Indiana,for twelve years, and Indiana Packers of Delphi, Indiana, for fifteen years. He was also a meter reader for REMC for twenty - five years.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
