Biographical Information: Helen departed life peacefully on March 6, 2018, in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated in 1947 from Idaville High School of Idaville, Indiana, as the valedictorian of her class. Helen lived the majority of her life in Monticello, Indiana. Upon her retirement from the Peoples Savings and Loan Bank in 1997, Helen relocated to Birmingham, Alabama with her husband of thirty-six years, Frank C. Nelson. Helen enjoyed traveling with friends and family, socializing with her community bunco club and Young at Heart church group, and spoiling her grandchildren and her little dog, Lady Ruby.

Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimers Association or the White County Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On November 22, 1967 in Chalmers, Indiana, she married Frank C. Nelson; he passed away on August 29, 2003.
