Biographical Information: Jim was born, raised, and graduated from Remington, Indiana. He worked as a surveyor for several years and was on the team of surveyors who built I65, and he surveyed from Remington to Lebanon, Indiana. Jim had live in Arizona for approximately seven years building midget race cars. He had multiple jobs over the years he enjoyed. He drove tri-axle dump truck and spent a lot of time at Owens Machine & Welding shop tinkering with the guys. Jim most recently did over the road transportation for Camper Express, hauling campers all over the country. Jim and his dog Rosie had seen a lot of this great countryside together. Jim’s greatest love was racing and this would have been his fiftieth year at the US 24 Speedway. He had done a little bit of everything out there over the years, from building racecars to owning racecars. It was his passion and he will be missed dearly.
