Biographical Information: Norwood went to be with his Lord and Savior. He had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all his life. Norwood was a 1948 graduate of Fowler High School of Fowler, Indiana. He was a United States Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict as a Staff Sgt. from 1950 to 1952. Norwood and his brother, Jesse, owned and operated the former Ashlock Cabinet Shop of Monticello, Indiana, and they were well known for all the amazing cabinets and furniture they made throughout the years. He was an avid golfer. Most importantly, Norwood, enjoyed and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Gideons Bible Program. Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On September 6, 1952, in Francesville, Indiana, he married Mabel L. Lee; she passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
