Biographical Information: Loretta grew up in Archer, Nebraska, area and attended grade school at District 58 near Archer, Nebraska. She was a 1939 graduate of Archer High School of Archer, Nebraska. Following graduation she worked at the AAA Office in Central in Central City, Nebraska, and then during World War II she went to California and worked at a service station, an airplane factory for Santa Fe Railroad in the accounting office. Loretta returned to Nebraska in 1945 and on July 3, 1947, we married to Earl Doan. She and Earl lived in Grand Island, Nebraska, until September of 1952 when Earl passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at the age of 29. On May 28, 1953, she was united in marriage to Herbert L. Foreman and in the following years they lived in Grand Island, Kearney, Gibbon, Sidney, Broken Pay, and Papillion, Nebraska, Chicago, Illinois, and finally settling in Monticello, Indiana, in 1975. In each community Loretta found employment and a bowling team to join. She worked as the secretary of the Monticello Christian Church, and then in accounts payable office, cost control and respiratory therapy at the former White County Memorial Hospital, all of Monticello, Indiana, until she returned to Central City, Nebraska, in 1991 following Herbert death. She was an active member of the Central City United Methodist Church of Central City, Nebraska, volunteering in the church office each week and singing in the church choir and for weddings and funerals. Loretta was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Lone Tree Unit. She enjoyed bowling and continued to bowl into her nineties. Loretta bowled at 200 game at the age of 89.

Marriage Information: On July 3, 1947 she married Earl Doan; he passed away unexpectedly September of 1952, of a heart attack of the age of 29. Then on May 29, 1953, she united in marriage to Herbert L. Foreman; he passed away passed away on December 29, 2003.
