Visitation will be: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (EDT), Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Fizz has resided in the Monticello (Carroll County), Indiana, area for the last ten years, coming from Lansing, Illinois. He grew up in Pulaski County, Indiana. Fizz retired from administration from the former Republic Steele (now known as US Steele) in Gary, Indiana. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Fizz was a member of the American Legion Post #0697 of Lansing, Illinois. He very seldom missed Mass at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church of Monticello, Indiana, and at St. Ann Catholic Church of Lansing, Illinois. Fizz loved going to church. He was loved dearly by all his sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Fizz never married or had children but is survived by a huge family. He loved to dance in his day, was an avid card player, and never refused to show off his skills. Fizz could play it all and played to WIN!!! "We will Love You Forever, Uncle Fizz"
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the funeral home at 3:00 (EDT) p.m., Tuesday, September 19,2017.
