Biographical Information: Eileen Louise (Gingrich) Ruemler went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2017, at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 1,1936, to Ray "Shady" and Orpha (Smith) Gingrich in Monticello, Indiana. As a child she loved riding her bike to the soda shop to get milkshakes. On October 14,1955, she married Glenn Allen Ruemler at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds, Indiana. They have 4 children, Stephan (Laurel) Ruemler of Brookston, Michael (Linda) Ruemler of Chalmers, Victoria (Brett) Connell of Monon and Eric Ruemler of Reynolds. Food and family define Eileen. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking yummy goodies for family and friends. In 1971, Eileen began working as a cook at Reynolds Elementary School and served in that capacity for 31 ½ years. Her hobbies beside baking and cooking were reading, movies, playing records, cookbook collecting, and enjoying her family. The family wants to give their thanks for the loving care provided by Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
