Biographical Information: Jerry lost his battle with cancer but he knows our Savior. In 1952, Jerry graduated from Monticello High School. He was outstanding in basketball. His athleticism trait was passed along to his predecessors. Jerry served two years in the U.S. Army stationed in Europe. Jerry worked at Farm Bureau, Co-op, and was a retired farmer. He continued to grow the sweetest corn for his family and friends. His love and support for his family and wide circle of friends will never be forgotten. If you knew Jerry, you would know he was an avid Cubs fan. Jerry loved to golf with his friends, was a WWII and Civil War enthusiast, and enjoyed iced tea in the morning or a cocktail with his friends in the evening. He had a passion for his Labrador Retrievers. Jerry was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, Amvets, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, and Goodfellows.

Marriage Information: On May 19, 1956, in Monticello, Indiana, he married Patsy Chamberlain. She died on May 11, 1991.
