Biographical Information: Ruth was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church of Reynolds, Indiana. She was also a member of the Study Club and the Quilting Club at the church, and was a great woman of Faith. Ruth enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her flowers and small garden, plus her many house plants, quilting, embroidery work, reading, writing letters to her grandchildren, sending cards to shut-ins, and fixing family dinners on the holidays. She served in the church office and taught children’s Sunday school classes for several years at the Reynolds United Methodist Church and the former Reynolds Christian Church. Ruth was a clerk and cashier for twenty - seven and a half years at the former Coy’s Ben Franklin Store, Barr’s Dime Store and Lords Dress Shop all in Monticello, Indiana. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. ********** The family would like to thank a very special niece and husband, Vern and Vicki Criswell of Delphi, Indiana, who helped Ruth out with projects and visited her often, tow special nephews, Rick and Mike Walters of Monticello, Indiana, who visited her often and took care of her property for several years, and a very dear friend and neighbor, Don Ward and his late wife, Karen. A special thank you to the staff at White Oak Campus of Monticello, Indiana, for all the care given Ruth the past several months. All of your acts of kindness were greatly. **********

Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reynolds United Methodist Church Memorial Fund (in Ruth’s name). Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On June 7, 1941, she was married to Daniel "Martin" Crawn by her cousin, Reverend C.C. Cole, in the Christian Church Parasonage in Warren, Indiana. Martin preceded her in death November 16, 2002. They were married for 61 years.
